VuDu!!
April 22, 2008
Hello Spring Break 2008. On Sunday (4/20) I had the opportunity to go down to VuDu Studios in Freeport, Long Island to hang out with Victory Records newest addition to the family, The Scenic. They were a lot of fun. I heard all the background to the prior bands that their singer, Jeremy, and newest guitarist, Dan. The other dudes, Shane, Jake, and Frank, were also so cool. This band had originality as soon as I met them. The more we kept shooting throughout the day, the more we got to know each-other. We shot inside with the studio equipment I set up, then headed over to a pier in Long Island where Jeremy kept walking up to random Long Islanders and asking them questions in a British accent like, “Excuse me sir. Do you know why they call this Long Island?” or “Excuse me. Do you know know who I am?”[stolen from The Scenics blog]… It was good times
I brought my friend Holly who helped set up, and take some behind the scenes photos. Also, I believe Frank and Jakes girlfriend video taped the entire shoot. I’d be cool to see it. We all had good times.
The photos will be released as soon as Victory Records closes the deal with the payment which will hopefully be this week. A few other things such as posters for Glamour Kills and All Time Low are in store also, I do not have much info on them but my photos were recognized for the job.
The Life
March 27, 2008
My second month in a row I’ve had photos in Alternative Press Magazine. My picture can be viewed in the Glamour Kills Clothing advertisement. Click HERE to see it…
I just want to thank everyone who have supported me and respected my photo options and the choices I make with them (doing what shoot/conflicts etc)
I spent $600 on some new studio lights from Alien Bees, which is pretty sick. The only thing I’m saving up for now is that portable power pack from AB, which I can’t wait for.
I hope everyones doing well.
If you all forgot…I DO have a MySpace and Flickr. Check it out. Thanks!!

Hey everyone. I just wanted to post a little something here before I disappear for a long time I guess… I’m not really active on this, but hopefully I will start soon. A lot of things have been happening, and I’ve been busy…as usual. I’ve been wanting to take a break, or some time away. I don’t know quite yet, and I don’t want to sound like Ryan Sheckler. Haha. Photography has been well for me.
I’ve been talking to Ryan Soroka a lot latley. I’ve known him for quite time (2005, I believe). He’s such a really outgoing kid, I love it. Considering he is the manager of The Dangerous Summer. We kind of worked some things out, and figured he’d let me shoot their promotional photos on March 28th. It’s a benefit show for Cancer, Round Two. It shall be good times, no lie….
Hopefully y’all remember the photos I did for The Audition. Ryan Kienle (ex-Matchbook Romance and now apart of Glamour Kills Clothing) had got me in touch with Aaron Dixion (The Audition manager). Aaron is also another really nice guy, who has no wants in life. Haha. I found out he also manages Jacks Mannequin which is pretty cool, not going to lie. Well…besides all that junk. Aaron, being the man, offered to submit my photo of the boys in a interview/review of them in Alt Press Mag. Things went really well, and all the photos were submitted just in time to release the magazine on March 25th,2008 where my issue came to my house. I was quite excited to see that on Page 80, Top left corner was my photo of The Audition. It was my first feature in Alt Press Magazine, and if I remember correctly…more photos of mine will be featured in Glamour Kills advertisement in issue 238(next month).
A lot of publicity have been recognizing me lately, and I suppose it’s a great thing. Some of my biggest dreams are being accomplished..slowly, but they are.I’m going to be updating this in a week or so and tell everyone about my plans in April. Take care
Ba-ba-ba-ba-busy!

Hey, I’ve been stocked up with so much work. There’s so many people that have been added to my address book it’s awesome. It kind of makes me proud to realize that I actually do have hope in photographing great people with a lot of connections and people that enjoy my photos… On Valentines day(2/14/0
I had the oppurtunity to photograph Envy On The Coast…their promotional photos, that is. I got to catch up with them when they were setting up in the venue also. It was kind of ironic considering I shot their live shot with Anthony Green a few weeks before and they remembered me when we hung out. Haha. They are a unique bunch. I grabbed them for 10 min and shot before their set and the photos came out amazing. I’ve never been so happy.
I also had the oppurtunity to shoot with Danger Radio, although their tour manager wasn’t in touch with me at the moment and I could not find them as easily. It’s okay, I met their drummer and he was a nice dude… Maybe next time.
Things are going great photo wise. Remember the studio I set up in my basement? It’s 75% complete; I am still purchasing and looking at my options with more lighting and stuff to make this the best it could be. I’ve been shooting more head-shots for girls/guys portfolios in acting. Matter of fact, a young lady I did a photo-shoot with, her mom is a web site designer that reccomened me to a Gym in Briarcliff,NY for some photos for the site…. that’s where I’m going now. Haha, hope all is well. Peace

Hey guys. Okay, I need to make this really fast. My feet are pretty cold, and I’m in my basement with not a lot of internet connection. Bassically I just wanted to bring up my last couple of weeks and the crazy amounts of minutes I’ve used on my sidekick3. Haha, not like that matters… But where do I start. I didn’t tell anyone about this, until it was confirmed…I was offered to do Glamour Kills Clothing for endorsement of a lot of bands. I got the details and found out I would be shooting for All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Every Avenue, The Audition, Cobra Starship, We The Kings, I am The Pilot, Metro Station and Just Surrender. I took it upon myself to keep it really quiet just in case it falls through noone would think I’m a fake! Haha, so the date came really fast. And hey, I looked over my shoulder, and I was shooting them in a 2 day period. I got to miss half of school for We The Kings, etc. It was an amazing experience. I got to learn a lot about the bands and how different they really are and how greatful they are for their fans and endorsement with GK. I mean, free clothes? Who doesn’t love it. I know I snagged some also. Haha. The bands were great, and following the promotional photos were the shows which were good times also. Everythings going amazing in 2008.And as we speak, I’m about to do studio photos for The Agony Family, and tomorrow doing Lauren Wagner’s portfolio and The Exotic Aquatic studio work also! Life is good, real good.
Welcome To The World.
January 5, 2008
So this is the new year? Mmm, I’m the only one that has no care to say that it is now 2008. In the past year, I’ve been holding my grounds pretty well and don’t want to move on. What the past has brought me, will affect my future although in maybe good, but bad ways also. Some decisions I look back on and if I had the chance to redo it… most likely would have the same outcome. I made the best decisions possible in 2007. Now on about getting that out. Lets push ‘07 away, and welcome ‘08. I spent my New Years Eve, actually waiting on a line at the Starland Ballroom with my brother to attend Thursday & Circa Survive concert. Last year I spent NYE with GlassJAw, now them. It was insane. I loved it. This may have been the fifth time I attended one of Circas concerts. Although their set wasn’t so impressive, I found the leaks to mention they get better and better everytime I see them. I believe most of the set was out of wack, song wise, meanwhile the PA/Soundsystem was not working so fond for them? And Thursday, beautiful. We rung in the New Year with the song “Jet Black New Year” following their last song of the night “Tomorrow I’ll Be You”. There was two local bands I wasn’t too happy about, but whatever…. Hope everyone had a safe, and enjoyable holiday. I’ll see you around!
PS: Can you please check out my available days in January for promotional photography (models, bands, clothing comp. etc) on my MySpace. Contact me for further inquires! Thanks!
Weblog?
December 29, 2007
Hey everyone! Welcome to my Weblog that I’ll be posting over the last couple of months considering my website has been a blob of crap and can’t seem to be finished soon enough. Where should I start… well, considering it was just the holidays and I’ve been looking forward to set some kind of studio, in my basement, up. I did! I ordered some strobe lights, umbrellas, backdrops, wireless slaves, flashes, and stands and made something out of it! I cleaned out my basement, set a 5 person couch up, table, refrigerator and made the best out of it. The studio looks great, I have a whole 12 ft. wall covered by stands of backdrop overlooking by lights. The test photos are coming out great, although I am still searching and booking bands and freelance models to get my portfolio going. Email me for any serious inquiries ( tom.falconephotography@gmail.com ). Thanks!
On another note, I have the opportunity to hang out with Envy on The Coast, The Dear Hunter, and Days Away on Thursday night. The show was at The School Of Rock in South Hackensack, NJ. It was first time photographing Casey Crescenzo (Dear Hunter), and also the boys of Days Away. Casey blew me away, along with Days Away who both held acoustic sets… I met up with Casey after the set, and talked to him about his more personal life and why he chose to play acoustic. He mentioned that his band wanted to stay home during the holidays without tour. The band (mostly from around Massachusetts) would do anything for Casey, although last years tour during the holiday times had put them in an awkward position with their families…anger…confusion…all that junk. Plus, the amount of practices when they are home to prepare for the tour. So! Casey took it in his own hands, as he said. Mmmm, what else! There was a lot of other things that happened at the show. I met up with Ryan and Jason Soroka. We got to go on stage with premission of Tony Genco to take photos and hang out while Anthony Green played, and also Envy On The Coast. Envy On The Coast played an amazing set, as usual. The set list was given to me by Brian, the guitarest and backup vocalist. The set was : Tell Them, Paperback, Sugar Skulls, God, Vultures, Mirrors, SuckerPunch, Gift. And they also came on stage to cover “I’ve Been Dying to Reach You” for Anthony Greens ending. I got to talk to everyone but Dan, the drummer of Envy, which isn’t surprising. He is a pretty shy guy, I guess. Blah blah blah, yeah yeah yeah. You should check them out. I’m editing pictures as I type. HA!Thank you everyone for reading.
Oh yeah! I’m seeing Circa Survive and Thursday on New Years Eve at Starland Ballroom! Who else is going?
I took this on December 27th, at the School of Rock.
